In the courtyard of the Blue Mosque shortly after the lights came on and dusk settled in over Istanbul, it was a a privilege to see the sky take on the mosque's namesake. The "ghosts" represent one of my favorite things about Istanbul - foreigners and locals integrating side by side in peaceful harmony.
