While hiking up to Flat Top Peak, a break from blowing snow provided a moment to rest. For a few minutes the strong winds cleared the sky and allowed the sun to shine. Winter had just begun and a wood structure along the trail had only begun to accumulate snow and ice. The timing was perfect to allow for photographs of the surrounding mountains and this structure.
