My brother and I went for a hick to see if we could find some Ibis at Ibis Pond. What we found was very more of a surprise. It was toward the nesting season for South Carolina birds and we found Wood Storks, Great Blue Herons, Ibis and Great White Egrets all nesting and building nests in the foliage in and around the pond. There must have neen about 50 or 60 birds all congregating together.
Location: Pinckney Island, near Hilton Head Island, SC.
