Winter time is very harsh in Nagano, Japan: The ground is covered with snow and Japanese macaques have to survive on tree barks, grasses, insects or whatever eatable they can find. In January this young macaque was nibbling on a tree branch hunkering down: This baby bent over so much that in the end he tumbled over and fell down.
