A shrimp and an anemone coexisting

While snorkeling the barrier between a sea grass bed and mangroves we came upon a helmet conch with an Atlantic carpet anemone attached to the top of it. On closer inspection, a sun anemone shrimp had made its home in the anemone. This is a great example of how so many different species use each other to survive in the ecosystem. As an avid scuba diver, I always forget that one does not need to go deep, and sometimes the coolest things are in a few feet of water.
