This photo of carp was taken in Beijing while touring the garden of an old Chinese home. Gardens played a very important role in creating a good environment in the home of early China. These gardens are a bit more contemporary, but reflect the tranquility and peacefulness of an interior courtyard populated with pines and natural vegetation.
