Rufous-necked Hornbill-Aceros nipalensis is one of the threatened birds of India found in the tropical moist evergreen forest of Himalayan regions and its foothill of North -east India. This photograph was taken when this pair of birds were engaged in courtship feeding which was really exciting because, this solitary bird is very shy to seen and very difficult to photograph as they always roost at the top canopy. It was early in the morning when the light was very poor and I was lucky to have my 400mm 2.8 tele lense with 1.7X converter.
