Late afternoon on the 16th of January 2010 my family and I took our dogs for a walk on the Cottonwood Creek, which was frozen at that time. I had my camera(a Nikon D40) with me to capture our escapade and I noticed that parts of the creek were no longer frozen anymore. I happened upon this scene where a piece of ice was hanging over the rushing water, and I thought that this would be an interesting photograph to take. I used an 18-55mm lens for my Nikon D40 and it was on the landscape setting, unfortunately I did not record the aperture and shutter speed.
