Voladores de Papantla, or Dance of the Flyers, ancient ritual to ask the gods for rain on droughts. The man standing plays his flute and drum, while the rest of the Voladores ¨flyers¨ prepare to launch themselves and ¨fly¨ around a 30 meter pole. Beautiful and exciting ritual full of symbolism between the man, nature and their gods.
