Photo and caption by Richard Allen
This photo was taken on a back dirt road near the Boeng Mealea Temple, part of the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. We were traveling by Motor bike when we came across these three loggers who were walking back to there village. I asked if I could take there photo and that made them smile. We spent some time talking with them about directions to the main road. The communication was very difficult but we all felt like we had a connection as family. They pointed us in the right direction and we were on our way. The smile in the mans face brings happiness to me. They were happy and real. Human.
