I had been stalking this beautiful eagle for months. He never seemed to land anywhere that I could get a clear shot. Finally he landed upon this dead tree. I saw him from a kilometre away and ran down the beach like a woman possessed. I had to scramble up some dunes and creep through some prickly bushes, but finally had him in my sights. You can tell he had a successful fishing trip by the stains on his breast feathers.
