Photo and caption by Nick Templeman

We were out in some pretty rough seas in the upper Salish Sea (Gulf of Georgia) with a very social gang of 18 plus Transient Killer Whales (Biggs Killer Whales) The Mom and Calf started breaching and i didn't even know i had captured this until i looked at the camera afterwards! It's a once in a lifetime photo! This is basically unedited, just cropped in a bit closer.

Location: Campbell River
