Coco de Mer

The fruits on the image are called „Coco de Mer“ (Lodoicea maldivica). They are the largest seeds in the plant kingdom and only exist on the Seychelles. One major fruit can be 40-50 cm in diameter and weighs 15-30 kg. Also the leaves of this palm tree are of vast dimensions like up to 10 meters long.
