Night on the Clam Cove

Clam Cove is a small cove about 5 kilometers from Cape Race, Newfoundland. It was near here on April 27, 1863 where the SS Anglo Saxon, a Canadian Steamship, sank resulting in the deaths of 238 passengers and crew. Some of the bodies were temporarily interned on the beach at the mouth of Clam Cove Brook. On August 7, 2012 I hiked to this area with friends and during the early evening I took this photo. It was a 30 second exposure at F13. ISO 200 and focal length 18 mm.
Location: Clam Cove near Cape Race, Newfoundland and Labrador
