First thing one Pantanal morning, while I was travelling in a boat, I came across a flock of Roseate Spoonbills and took a series of photographs. On the way back down the same river, with it getting close to midday and the sun very hot, I found the same big flock, bathing. We stopped and I sat on the floor of the small boat to position myself at the lowest angle possible. I started to photograph spectacular scenes of the Spoonbills bathing and drying their feathers.
