Approximately 40,000 acres of enchanted wilderness located in the 'Land of Enchantment', state of New Mexico. The Bisti Badlands are comprised of sandstone, shale, coal and silt. Sandstone spires and hoodoos of various shapes and sizes along with petrified wood are found throughout this site.
