Driving through the streets of Port-au-Prince, december 2011, I noticed this poignant scene that I shot in a flash through the car glass. The man depicted in despair, by chance dressed in the red and blue colors of the national flag, seems to personify Haiti two years after the 2010 earthquake: A disrupted country in debris, with almost no rebuilding being done, already forgotten by the rest of the world. The graffiti behind the man should raise a big question mark for the viewers mind.
