Naadam games traditionally consist of horse races, wrestling, and archery. At times other contests are offered as well. In this image, horse riders are required to pick up a long stick with a noose on the end while at full gallop. This image was particularly interesting because it shows the intensity of the event, the concentrated calm of the driver and the power of the horse.
