Father and Son Admire Chihuly

Fitting shot - I was at the Chihuly Garden and Glass with my Dad, a retired artist and professor of art who was visiting me while I worked in Seattle. While we didn't pause to enjoy the works as this young father and son did, we had every bit as much fun or more. Having visited Seattle just 5 years ago, I can't believe the difference the Chihuly Garden and Glass makes in the whole area. It is a must visit on your next trip to the Northwest. The glass house was very special to me also because the shape reminded me of a converted barn I grew up in. It was intentionally big and spacious for art.
