Abboud Maroun Born in Lebanon he has been local crops and fruit farming for over 70 years. Picture taken at his banana/Avocado orchard on the bank of Ibrahim river in Lebanon. While traveling and exploring Lebanon this summer, I stopped by to visit my friend from Austin, Texas, Ziad’s Grandfather, who at the age of 86 still attends to his fruit orchard just north of Beirut and a few miles from Byblos in the valley of the Ibrahim River. He has been working and harvesting his banana/Avocados & Lemons for over 70 years. The tool in his hand is used to hold up bananas.
