Thumbs up at the Mille Miglia!

With Italian Flag flying, driver Ermes Formilan & navigator Luigi Dal Dosso are thumbs up in their vintage racer, a 1922 Fiat 501 SS Targa Florio. They’re heading to the start gate of the famous Mille Miglia race in Brescia, Italy in May, 2011. Mille Miglia is a 1000 mile vintage car rally that heads 500 miles south on open roads to Rome, and returns to Brescia. Ermes Formilan is a great friend of the Targa Florio Foundation. The Targa Florio is the world’s oldest (1906) & most famous motor race, held in Sicily. The Fiat is pictured on the Foundation’s site at www.fondazionetargaflorio.eu
