I travelled to Astoria, Oregon to photograph the Astoria-Megler bridge this spring. While searching for an appropriate vantage point, I noticed the directional quality of light backlighting this scene just beneath the base of the bridge. It was just a matter of waiting for the right subject to complete the scene.
