Early morning in the Tengger Desert with the dunes reflected in one of the approximately 200 desert lakes. The Tengger Desert is located in the Alashan League in Inner Mongolia. The name of the Tengger Desert comes from the Mongolian word for "sky." The abundance of sky and sand fills the senses on every level with only the small desert lakes providing an oases of different perspective.
