While I traveled to Ladakh district, I crossed this small but interesting place called Dras, which shot into prominence in the summer of 1999 during Kargil War. Most of the houses here caught my attention. They didn't have proper construction and they were partially broken or damaged which left me intrigues. In this particular picture, I tried to capture this environment with a lady watching over her kid with love. No matter what part of world you are in, a mother always has such an affection towards the kids.
