This dragonfly was clinging to a rod at the water edge in one of the tiny islands in the Okavango delta. Our local guide had just landed the Mokoro (a boat similar to a canoe) and I hopped into the water to take a few shots. The mokoros are driven by pushing the bottom of the river using a long pole. Hence, The people who drive the mokoro are nicknamed "polers".

Location: Concession NG32, Okavango delta, Botswana
