Rahel is a young single mother. She and her infant son, Tesfayeh, live in a safe house for single mothers and young girls who were sleeping rough in the streets of Addis. The safe house offers women and vulnerable minors (who due to a variety of reasons were homeless and/or in danger of slipping into prostitution or crime) accommodation, counselling and vocational training to enable them to live independently.
