Final Resting Place

Beach combing is like opening an encyclopedia. There are discoveries in every step. Look down on the shoreline and see a treasure of seashells. Looking further along the sandy beach, interesting things like this driftwood may be discovered. What might the journey have been for this tree trunk as it made its way to this final resting place? Skipping along the bottom of the sea, tumbling over coral and now washing up on the beach, where will it be taken from here? Used as firewood, left to rot, or will an artist give it new life? What do you think, is this its final resting place?
