A visit to the ice cave

We explored an ice cave near Root Glacier as the finale for a day hike. Coming from a tropical country, seeing this frozen spectacle of nature really took our breath away. This photo was taken when a couple friends of mine were making their way out of the cave. While the wife was trying to find her footing around the loose rock, the husband stood patiently behind keeping watch over her.
