expressions of optimism, frustration, angst, and even discontent are evident on these teenagers. teenage members of the Chewa tribe, the people of this area struggle with food nutrition and enough capitol to improve farming and production techniques. there is very little crime in the region. i was on assignment to cover an ngo's efforts in providing education and food/vitameal to local villages near Lilongwe, Malawi. i'd prefer to crop out the caravans on the far left side.
