In a visual twist, the Space Needle appears to be piercing the skin of the "whale" that is the Frank O. Gehry architectural masterpiece, Experience Music Project, an interactive museum in the famed Seattle Center that focuses on the history of the area's many iconic artists and is specifically named after Jimi Hendrix's band.
