Each morning before dawn, you can see the pilgrims reaching the holly river Ganges at Varanasi. They will come from all over India to have a ritual bath, pray and make their offerings to the godess Shiva. Some of them will come to the city for their final days, hopping to pass away here and attain the "Moksha", their liberation from the circle of cycle of reincarnation (death and rebirth). They would buy candles and let them flow in the river ...
