Arriving shortly before 5pm , I was hoping for a fiery sunset, instead, I was gifted with something better. The sky was dark and foreboding, warning of an impending storm. Out in the distance, there was a clearing on top of the Sierra Nevada mountains that was reflected on the perfectly still waters of Mono lake . I was blessed to capture this glorious sight, one of the most unusual scenes I had the privilege to behold.
