Tourists and locals watch the stars in the sky and the glow from lava deep within Halema`uma`u crater as dawn breaks over the Jaggar Museum overlook into Kilauea Caldera on the summit of Kilauea volcano. Volcanic activity returned to the summit of Kilauea in 2008, and continues there to the present day.
