Orphan Girl of Sarthe

I travelled to Sarthe, Haiti, where we were warned not to stray too far from the group, a city on the edge of Cité Soleil. There, I worked with an all girls orphanage - the compound in ruins, by the 2010 Earthquake. There were 17 girls at the orphanage, ages ranging from 5 to 13. All stayed in a small damp room with 16 beds to share amongst the 17. There she was, sitting outside, bright eyed, intrigued by the camera and followed my movements with her curious eyes. Her name is Cineus Wislande, one of the youngest of the orphans. She has a story untold and a personality I cannot wait to meet.
