Pure Third World Color

We have walked back into a small courtyard of homes on top of Mount Entoto above Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, meeting with the people and coming to understand their culture better. I turned to look at one of the homes and could not help but be attracted to the rainbow of colors before me. In their otherwise drab lives, they had carefully painted their home, painted the door, had multiple colors of wash tubs--it was so refreshing. If I would have had an art director on set, I could not have done a better job arranging such a delightful scene.

Location: Mount Entoto, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
