Listening for the Word of God at the Western Wall

I have been to the Western Wall of the ancient temple complex in Jerusalem for many years. I love to watch the people and their devotion to God and their reverence for this sacred site. This particular man attracted my attention because he was dressed much poorer than the rest. He was right against the Wall praying and, as if to block out the modern world, he moved his finger over his ear to listen more intently. I was moved by this. Note the joint between the stones filled with paper prayers stuffed tightly between.
