The Vatican at night shot from a stone wall on the Tibre River. I was walking back to my hotel room from a long adventurous day exploring Rome when I stumbled across this scene. It was my first time in Rome, so one can easily image my surprise. I had only my camera, and no tripod. So I braced my camera against the stone wall with my left hand while I took five bracketed time lapse shots in preparation of creating an HDR image, with my right. This was the balanced image.
