Milky Way over Owachomo Bridge in Natural Bridges National Monument

This image was taken in Natural Bridges National Monument well after sunset with a thirty second exposure and in one shot. There was a new moon, so quite dark and of course not a town within 50+ miles of this location. The relatively long exposure and a high ISO of 3200 afforded my digital camera to pull in much more light than the naked eye could ever see by itself. A 24mm 2.8 lens was utilized to capture as much of the Owachomo Bridge as possible. During the exposure the bridge was painted with a pocket light bring out details on the Bridge. The red horizontal streak is an airliner.
