When we were in Lijiang, China in October, 2007 and visited a school for the Nakhi language. It is a pictorial language and we had a scroll done depicting joy (a singer), love (dancers) and peace (two people breaking a bow). It was an amazing experience to watch his meticulous workmanship and the pride and joy with which he accomplished it. He is only one of two people in the world who can write their beautiful and lyrical language.
Location: Lijiang, Yunnan, China
