This photograph was taken at Chellah on the outskirts of Rabat, Morocco. These ruins are left from the town of Sala Colonia from the time when the Phoenicians and the Carthaginians founded colonies in Morocco. The decaying, rich architecture depicts abandon yet provokes exploration.
