Ghost town

Not far from Matera (Basilicata, Italy), perched on a picturesque hill, stands the small town of Craco. Of very ancient origin, after ups and downs, it has now unluckily become a ghost town. Deep wounds, caused by a huge landslide, cross the houses and the narrow streets. All the villagers were forced to leave it, but the place has retained its charm so unaffected that it was often chosen as a film set by many important directors.
Location: Basilicata, Italy
