Oct. 19, 2012 - On the last day of our National Geographic Expedition to the Galapagos Islands, we came across a small group of Spotted Eagle Rays close to the shore of Genovesa Island. Genovesa Island is a shield volcano in the Galápagos Islands in the eastern Pacific Ocean. This photo was taken aboard a zodiac with a Nikon DS50 with a Sigma 120-400mm lens.
