The stereotype of the jarochos dance is the "footwork" or "Son Jarocho", which is customary in exhibitions throughout the territory of Veracruz, Mexico. Music is played with jaranas, clarinet, harp, tambourine and donkey jaw among other instruments and dancing on stage, stomping.
