the "ermita del virgen del pino" is a beautiful place at the island of La Palma, canary islands. a 500 to 1000 years old canarian pine tree leans against the milky way, and the little church of the "virgen del pino" aside. canarian pine trees are endemic to the canary islands and responsible for the natural water management of the island. their huge green needle pennants comb the humid passat clouds, branding on the island from the east, and provide water to the island.
