Milky Way Over Double Arch
Photo and caption by HEMAL MAMTORA
We were at the Arches National Park over the Summer, what a beautiful place. We were walking down from the Delicate Arch and the sky was crystal clear, never had I seen so many stars. I decided to return after dinner for some astrophotography. Unfortunately, there was almost complete cloud cover after an hour. I was dejected and we went to set up the tents. As time rolled by I noticed the sky clearing so we headed to the Double Arch. I set up my tripod and after a few tries I had this shot safely in my memory card. I felt ecstatic and connected with Nature in a way I've never felt before.
