On a European excursion this past September, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying in ten different cities and taking day trips between countless more. After leaving Salzburg, we went out of our way to stop in the small town of Hallstatt, Austria. Nestled between the Alps and a calm, sprawling lake, we got the best views from a small boat we rented to tour the coastline. Hallstatt, Austria September 4, 2012
