Anywhere in the West

Category: Places

Photo and caption by L. Aurelian

Ironically enough, this photograph was actually taken looking out across the New Haven, Connecticut shoreline in Mid-February--and yet, the iconography of the American West remains so distinct that, even 1,500 miles away, the image resonates with the feel of American history.

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
