In the latter part of the International Balloon Fiesta in 2011 a cold front came through and we woke up to a dusting of snow and a mountain wave of clouds over the Sandia Mountains. Other than the clouds enveloping the top of the mountains, clear skies and a slight westerly breeze was all that was needed to set the stage for this shot.
