Celsus Library of Ancient Ephesus

The Celsus Library in Ephesus, an ancient city now located in the western province of Turkey, was built around 135 A.D. The library was a tribute to Tiberius Julius Celsus and housed thousands of ancient scrolls and codexes. The Corinthian columns and scroll work depicted enclose the three entrances to the library.
