This shot was taken in Marquette, MI on the shores of Lake Superior in December. Every year starting around November Lake Superior starts producing extreme weather and intense waves, some reaching 20 plus feet. Every year you will find die hard surfers who see these rough waves a challenge. It could be -10 degrees Fahrenheit and snowing, but if the waves are up, the winter surfers are out.
